13 Years, 800 Children With Special Needs Supported
Founded in 2011 by Fara and Mohammad Ali Dawood, parents of a special needs child, MIJ Hub is dedicated to supporting children with special needs. With over 800 children supported across four centers, MIJ Hub provides growth, independence, and hope for those who would otherwise be left behind.
Our Story
When Faraliza’s son, Ashraf, was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, she knew his journey would be different. Ashraf faced challenges that the world often didn’t understand. Faraliza, both a mother and an educator, recognized that Ashraf needed more than what typical schools could offer—he needed a place that believed in his potential, just as she did.
That’s why Faraliza founded MIJ Hub, a school and community dedicated to supporting children with special needs. What began as a personal journey for Fara and Ashraf has since become a mission to ensure that every child, no matter their background or ability, has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed.
“At MIJ, no child is turned away due to financial struggles. Every child is a gift from Allah; we see their potential and help unlock it.”
